MLB games
So I know I owed you folks this post after my previous n-th post saying I will talk more about the baseball game we have watched. All this happened because we were so 'muka tembok' (literally means audacious in english, beh pai seh in hokkien) asked for the free tickets from one of the Finance guy in Texas office.
His name is John. Well, the story goes like this. We were attending Texas plant quarterly site communication and they were giving away free baseball tickets during lucky draw session. We wrote our name in a small piece of paper and dropped it into the drawing box and highly hoped that they will pick our name so we can go for free! Luck was not at our side and when we were a little disappointed, we heard John wanted to offer his ticket for the next lucky winner but they insisted him to take it. Hehe, guess what? Yes, both of us dropped by his cube and tried our luck to see whether he willing to give it for us. Haha! The very next morning, he came to us with the 2 tickets! Woot!
In a nutshell, John makes this post happen and... you must ask for what you want in this life. You won't be 100% lucky to just sit at there and wish your dream may come true.
Walking with the crowds...
Remember my picture with Cowboy Stadium? It's just within walking distance from the ballpark.
Cars queing for valet parking.
Texas Rangers Ballpark, here I come!
The baseball game! Oh my, it's my very first time to watch baseball game! Erm, consider my very first time to watch sports event with such huge crowd. Yes, spot the rainbow ice-blended. I couldn't recall what the name is it. Time to time there are beers, drinks, snacks for sale.
During the break, it was time for interaction with the spectators as I have mentioned in my previous n-th post, again. Hehe. Kiss cam!
Everyone stands up during the last round.
Erm, sorry, Texas Rangers lost the game even though we saw 'Homerun' twice that night. 1st was from Texas Rangers team, 2nd was Red Sox. Forgot the scoring though. Right after watching the match, there was live broadcast for the scoring. Of course we did not try to jump up and down just to get ourselves to be air in TV.
Overall we really enjoyed watching how the spectators anticipated the baseball to reach them so they can bring it home. (minus the girl behind us who kept boo-ing to Boston Red Sox asking them to go back to Boston...) Haha, of course, the player I remember most from Texas Rangers is Hamilton. I miss these moment very much.... Oh yea, Steve, our 'si fu' (master) in work told us there is one rule for the ladies, that if there was a guy sitting beside us, that guy must buy us a beer. Guess who sat beside us?
Obviously, no drink for us! Haha. (Ok, it was hot in Texas and I brought along the fan with me in the bag all the time.)

Thanks!
Dad, Mom and Sis,
Thank You! It was a really big surprise! I will try my best to make you all proud =)
I'm fanatic of nail's colors... I purposely asked my colleague, Mr. EricG to help me on the Essie Mega Mini Jewel purchase all the way from the States because it's much cheaper over there. So grateful he was willing to place girl's stuff in his luggage. Wee.. Now you know how I fill up part of my leisure weekend with the nail polish sets I possess. Not forgetting to thank Mr. Five for this picture and the 470ml Essie nail polish remover.

Houston Part 2
After exploring the space shuttle and inspired by the life of an astronaut, we went to Kemah Boardwalk which is considered a sea side leisure area.
I met Kelly's best friend! Spongebob the Squarepant!
From this picture, you can spot eateries, amusement park and lots of visitors...
The color of the sunset sky with yacht as background (minus the unavoidable power cable, of coz my exhausted face) - iichiban desu neh...
Haha, Kelly, want to try your last throw on this game with.... ahem...?
The gigantic roller coaster at Kemah Boardwalk.
At night, both of us headed to Hard Rock cafe to enjoy Saturday night. That night I paid USD10 for the entrance fee because there was some sort of charity for hospital fund.
Dessert of the night. Some sort of crumbled apple + caramel + ice-cream. Could not recall what is the name of this dessert which is highly recommended by the long beard waiter.
Our invaluable souvenir from States would be this glass! Trust me! Chia Inn and I hand-carried this glass all the way from Houston -> Arlington (Dallas Fort Worth Airport) -> San Frans (SFO Airport -> HK (Hong Kong Airport) -> KLIA. And finally this glass is sitting comfortably in kitchen cabinet of my very own lovely Sandakan home. Guess what? It's complimentary comes with the drink. Woot! So do you think all of our effort is being wasted? Hehe!
Happily brought the glass home! It's a brand new glass with the HOUSTON wordings on it.
The very next day, being the very curious visitor, we paid the museum a visit.
I saw the Emperor all the way from China at Houston!
Don't worry, I was in the museum at broad day light, so I won't be afraid of the dinosaurs' action. (Watch Night of the Museum if you don't get it).
Wind turbine!
Jewelry exhibition and the gemstones showcase.
Looks like kryptonite to me. Superman must be very scared to be near of it.
Gold
Something awesomely cute taken from Houston Galleria. I must say I enjoyed shopping in this Galleria rather than Dallas one because it houses all my favorite shops in it.
Mr. Sam Houston, by the roadside during our journey back to Arlington.
We stopped by one of the pit-stop to empty our bladder during the journey. Too bad the petrol kiosk was closed for public entry due to blackout. We were very surprised why there was huge jam at the area. Indeed, we opted to go nearby hotel lobby for the washroom and looked for answer. To our surprise, there was just strong wind (I guess the extreme bad weather) half an hour ago caused the havoc. So the Ranch turnturtle consequent by the gust wind. Imagine if we were there! I highly doubt if I will be blown away by the wind.... I should thanks Mr. Sam Houston for attracting us to stop for a picture.
So a kid got injurred and there was paramedics and police around to help out.
Process of moving the RV.
I can conclude that this driving journey from Houston - Arlington was the most memorable one because both of us were so freaked by the weather. See how the skies look like to welcome us back from Houston.
We thought we would be ended up like what we witness few hours ago. Phew~ We were so nervous and we tried to calm and convinced ourselves that it's gonna be okay. Don't know why the journey back Arlington took us so long (because of what had happened). We were too freaked out and ended up having Mc Donald's take away as our dinner and hid in our room that night. The very next day I shared this experience with my colleagues in Texas and they told me, "Oh, it's very common in Texas. Don't worry, it's a very seldom occasion you will get hit by tornado." Erm, there was tornado once damaging the trees outside the Texas plant. Oh.. it's so unpredictable to become Texans. I still remember once when I was having conference call with Leslie, he was telling me he has to go out of sudden. Guess what, it's was the weather warning....
The Celebration
I know it's kinda late and I still want to wish everyone of you who are reading this blog a very Merry Christmas. It's always never too late to say this to the one you know and keep in touch with them! Wee..
Had Christmas Eve feast at Bamboo Hut with my housemates.
Christmas present I got for myself.

Tung Jit Fai Lok
If you been following my blog few years ago, I like eating 'Tong Yuen'. I like how the words turn out because 'Yuen' means reunion. Of course pictures above taken past few weeks ago when I was craving for 'Tong Yuen' after my US trip. Well, the easiest way to eat it is of course, walk into any nice dessert soup where they serve it. But I like plain one hence I opted to buy the instant rice ball from nearest Jusco and cooked it myself. I still miss the moments I spent with my buddies back in Uni time where we really had fun to 'hand-mould' it. Let me calculate, it's been 7 years I celebrate 'Tung Jit' away from home. My sister dropped me a message reminded me to eat it. Let's see will it rain tomorrow because there is one saying, when it rains during 'Tung Jit', there will be no rain during the next first day of coming Chinese New Year.

Out of the Circle
It's so pathetic to see my own blog with the same old post every other day is kinda boring right? Yea, I know that giving lame excuse of "Busy lately", or "Tired" are so turning every reader away. Well, I really have limited time for my own self, leaving alone blogging (does not include watching movie/dramas to have a good laugh though, hehe). It's end of year people, where do you think you are heading? I still have not make up my mind for upcoming new year resolution. Yada yada, I do not have enough determination to drag myself back into my very own circle of life now. Well, there is always a "Perhaps...."

Sunset in Texas
Taken during our 4 hours journey from Arlington to Houston. Recalled the time Chia Inn and I took turn to drive out of town just for sightseeing.
